contemporary house design

Contemporary low energy house designed for a sloping, south-facing site in the Val de Dagne in southwest France uses solar energy for the hot water, the space heating and pool. The living and dining rooms are combined to provide one large south facing space that connects directly to the kitchen on the north side of the plan. A raised terrace overlooks the pool and provides extensive views across the valley. The master bedroom faces west with a glass wall opening onto a secluded garden. The two guest bedrooms are at the eastern end of the plan, each with a small private terrace.
