traditional French house design

This low energy house design has three bedrooms and is located on a south facing slope with views across the valley towards the hills beyond. Solar heating is used for domestic hot water and the underfloor heating. The low energy design also uses solar panels to heat the pool which also serves as a thermal store. Two guest bedrooms are placed above the dining and kitchen area with direct access to the pool and terrace. The master bedroom and living room are at the opposite end of the plan, facing south and east. The long terrace, which runs the full length of the plan, is shaded by a pergola and connects the house with the pool, the car parking and the garden.
