luxury apartments at Southdowns Park
New-build luxury apartments at Southdowns Park form part of the residential conversion and regeneration of the redundant St Francis' Hospital, a collection of Grade II Listed Victorian buildings that were once an NHS asylum in West Sussex. The 14 apartments are at the south-east corner of the site, replacing several poor quality additions to the main building. The apartments are mainly two-bedroom, several with a gallery floor above the living area. To complement the original Italianate Victorian architecture found elsewhere on the development, the elevations of the new apartments feature multi-coloured brick banding and decorative brick arches above the windows.
