listed building conversion at Royal Earlswood

VICTORIA COURT

The conversion of Royal Earlswood Hospital, a Grade II Listed asylum in Surrey, created 120 luxury apartments set in landscaped grounds. This image shows the west wing of Victoria Court, a small part of the Royal Earlswood Park development, which also included the workshops and the infirmary. Restoration work included demolition of many poor quality extensions to restore the building to its original appearance. The Great Hall, once used as a venue for entertaining the hospital's patients, was converted to a swimming pool and fitness centre for the new residents.
