Two rows of affordable starter houses designed for a local authority. Located on steeply sloping ground between two parallel roads on a new housing development, the site was considered too steep for an access road. The two rows of terraced houses face each other across tiered landscaping. A tree-lined footpath gives access to the houses through communal gardens and links the existing roads. Three bedrooms are located at ground level and the kitchen and living room are on the first floor. The large living room window and an upper terrace give views over the tree-lined footpath, the front gardens and the distant countryside.
